Jan Flídr Appointed Counsel

With effect from 1 September 2023, Mgr. Jan Flídr, Ph.D. has become a counsel at Glatzová & Co. Jan has been with Glatzová & Co. since 2014, and since 2020 he has also been assistant professor at the Department of Commercial Law at the Faculty of Law of Charles University. "Jan has an exceptional range of theoretical knowledge, which he can brilliantly combine with legal practice. His appointment as counsel significantly strengthens the academic background of our firm", says Libor Němec, partner of the firm. Jan is a recognized expert in corporate and consumer protection law. He is the author of a monograph on management liability of capital companies, co-author of a commentary on the Consumer Credit Act and author and co-author of a number of articles in leading periodicals. Because of his extensive knowledge and expertise, clients also seek him out in connection with general commercial law services. Jan obtained his master's degree and PhD from the Faculty of Law of Charles University. He also studied at the University of Hamburg and completed a research stay at Wirtschaftsuniversität Wien. He is fluent in Czech, English and German.
