Glatzová & Co. provided comprehensive legal advice to the investment group Pale Fire Capital in connection with a transaction through which Pale Fire Capital became the majority owner of Acond, one of the leading Czech manufacturers of heat pumps headquartered in Milevsko.
Pale Fire Capital increased its existing stake in Acond to 93%, thereby strengthening its position as the majority investor and creating strategic prerequisites for the company’s further growth and expansion into European markets. The aim of this step is to reinforce Acond’s position as a key player in the dynamically developing segment of energy-efficient technologies.
Glatzová & Co. delivered all legal services related to the transaction. The legal team supporting the client throughout the project consisted of associate Jindřich Pastrňák and the firm’s partner Jiří Sixta. “It was our honour to accompany Pale Fire Capital in this investment. The transaction reflects the strong position of the Czech innovation industry and the ambitions of Czech companies to succeed in international markets,” said Jiří Sixta.
