Erik Kolan Appointed New Equity Partner at Glatzová & Co.

As of 1 January 2026, the law firm Glatzová & Co. has welcomed a new equity partner. Mgr. Erik Kolan, LL.M. Eur., a long-standing member of the team and a specialist in real estate law, energy law and administrative proceedings, has become the firm’s sixth equity partner.

In recent years, Erik Kolan has been involved in a number of major transactions. Under his leadership, the firm advised, for example, on the acquisition of a development project by Synergy Capital for SQUARE real estate, as well as on the purchase of the Penta Hotel (now HOTEL PULSE8) in Prague’s Karlín district for Bohemia Properties, a.s. His clients also include the Centropol Group, Pražská energetika and Erste Group Immorent ČR.

Professional Profile

Erik Kolan (born 1982) graduated from the Faculty of Law of Charles University in Prague. He also studied at the University of Hamburg and completed postgraduate studies at Ludwig Maximilian University of Munich, where he also undertook an international internship at a renowned law firm. He is a member of the Czech Bar Association and speaks Czech, Slovak, English and German. He is married and has two children.
