Vladimíra Glatzová is the Sixth Most Important Woman in the Czech Business World, says Leading Journal
Vladimíra Glatzová claimed sixth place in finance journal Hospodářské noviny’s annual list of the 25 most significant Czech businesswomen. This was a one-place jump from Dr. Glatzová’s ranking in 2005. For the second year running, the prestigious award was made by the editors of Hospodářské noviny together with a jury of seven leading HR executives and advisers.
In 2006, the jury assessed 80 women who work as managers in private companies in the Czech Republic. The following criteria were taken into account in ranking candidates: the size of the company and its importance for the Czech economy, the candidate’s position in the company, the company’s success in its business area, and the candidate’s professional managerial history.
Ms Alena Ludrovská, the Central European Director of Cetelem finished first on the final list this year. She was followed by Ms Olga Girstlová, General Manager of GiTy, Ms Magdalena Souček, Partner at Ernst & Young, Ms Cornelia Röttger, the former General Manager of Unilever for the Czech and Slovak Republics, and Ms Eva Štěpánková, General Manager of Ryor.
