Martin Dančišin named a partner
A senior associate of Glatzová & Co., Martin Dančišin was named a partner of the firm starting January 1, 2009. After returning from his secondment at our partner office, Hengeler Mueller, in London, he follows in the footsteps of Jiří Sixta and Jindřich Jelínek, who were named partners in July 2008.
JUDr. Martin Dančišin has worked for Glatzová & Co. since 2004. He graduated from the Law faculty of the University of West Bohemia in Pilsen (2001), where he passed the state doctoral examination (Rigorosum) in 2001. He has been an associate of the firm since 2004. He specialises in restructuring and insolvency, real estate, banking and finance. During his legal practice he has participated in M&A transactions and has prepared model contracts for a number of Czech banks. He has been a member of creditor committees in bankruptcy proceedings and has long experience with representing clients before Czech courts. Recently he provided legal counsel to leading banks on their financing of important business activities in the Czech Republic. He also co-operated on a project changing the legal form of a major Czech power company and has advised a leading Czech bank as a creditor in the first authorised corporate restructuring in accordance with the Insolvency Act.
