Our claim to fame...
Labour law relations are highly specific. They tend to be influenced by emotions and strong personal interests to a greater extent than other areas of law, and require a sensitive approach. A recent issue that has appeared on the Czech corporate scene is claims of workplace discrimination. In the first dispute of its kind in the Czech Republic, Glatzova & Co. successfully defended Pražská teplárenská against allegations of gender-based discrimination. Among the challenges for the defence was satisfying the burden of proof on the employer to show lack of any discriminatory treatment.
