Juraj Alexander and Daniel Hájek new members of the team
On February 1, 2005 our firm was joined by Mgr. Juraj Alexander (25). Juraj took his Masters of Law at the Law Faculty of Masaryk University in Brno in 2004. In 2001 he spent one term at the Faculty of Law, Political Sciences and Administration at the University of Robert Schuman in Strasbourg, France, where he focused on the law of the European Union and corporate law.
In his practice he has been focusing mainly on general legal advice in the area of civil and commercial law, real estate and international private law. He has also taught European law and corporate law at the Law Faculty of the Komensky University in Bratislava. He speaks Slovak, English, French and German.
Mgr. Daniel Hajek, LL.M. joined our team on January 3, 2005. He took his Master of Law at the Law Faculty of Charles University in Prague in 2002. In the academic year 2000/2001 he pursued his studies at the Law Faculty of Utrecht University in the Netherlands, where he specialised in private law. After finishing his studies at the Charles University he worked as a junior associate in the law office Cisar, Ceska, Smutny a spol. In 2003/2004 he pursued a one year post-graduate course at the Law Faculty of the University of San Francisco focusing on international trade transactions and comparative law, from which he was awarded an LL.M. Masters in Law degree. Nowadays, he is further extending his expertise and knowledge by studying in a doctorate program at the Law Faculty of Charles University in Prague, specialising in commercial law.
In his practice Daniel focuses mainly on international trade, commercial and corporate law, litigation, including arbitration, and bankruptcy law.
