European Energy Law Group to meet in Prague
The European Energy Law Group will meet in Prague on October 31, 2008. Dr. Vít Horáček, partner in Glatzová & Co. and longtime member of the group, will host the meeting.
The European Energy Law Group (ELG) was formed in 1993 as an informal association of lawyers who specialise in problems related to energy law. Almost all European jurisdictions are currently represented, including the Czech Republic. Vít Horáček, partner in Glatzova & Co., has been representing the Czech Republic in the group for several years. Members meet regularly, twice a year, to consult on current issues in the field and prepare joint publications. The subject of the fall meeting, which will take place in Prague, is “Renewable energy”. Jakub Hájek, who handles the issue at Glatzova & Co., will present his contributions to the project.
More information about the ELG is available on their web page, www.energylawgroup.eu.
