Glatzova & Co. and Life for Children donate medical equipment for critically ill children

Glatzova & Co. and the civic association Life for Children donated advanced medical equipment costing 1,651,174 CZK to the Paediatrics and Adolescent Medicine clinic at the General Teaching Hospital in Prague and the First Medical Faculty of Charles University.

June 8, 2010, Vladimíra Glatzová together with other partners of the civic association Life for Children donated advanced medical equipment costing 1,651,174 CZK to the intensive care and resuscitation the Paediatrics and Adolescent Medicine clinic at the General Teaching Hospital in Prague and the First Medical Faculty of Charles University. The three pieces of equipment – a Giraffe Incubator Omnibed, a pulmonary transport ventilator Oxylog 3000 and an Infant Flow nasal CPAP system can help to save the lives of critically ill infants with low birth weight, newborns carried to term, infants and other children. 

 

Glatzova & Co. donated a CZK 100 000 to the civic association Life for Children, which was used specifically towards purchasing the Giraffe incubator Omnibed, costing 860 000 CZK. 

 

Among the private donors who contributed to the apparatus were also Vít Horáček and Klára Bumbálková of Glatzova & Co. Other colleagues from the office and its clients have also joined the charity collection by purchasing items.
