Financial transactions exceeding EUR 1 billion are rare in the Czech Republic. One such transaction was the debt financing for acquisition and operation of the major coal and coke production concern, the OKD group, in which we provided legal advice to a syndicate of financing banks. Another such transaction, the largest of its kind in the Czech Republic, was the IPO of NWR, the parent company of OKD, listing its shares on the London, Warsaw and Prague Stock Exchanges. We acted as legal advisors to arrangersand managers.
