Aktuálně.cz: The Anti-discrimination Act is here. Does it bring anything new?

Since the beginning of September, a new law regulating equal treatment and legal means of protection against discrimination, called the Anti-discrimination law, went into effect. It is a compromise of two main schools of thoughts – legislators on the one side and NGOs on the other – whose main and single goal was to make a new law that would bring the highest legal protection for victims of discrimination. By adopting the standard, the Czech Republic fulfilled its duty to implement anti-discrimination directives of the European Union.
